What is the dress code?
Light, bright colours and semi-formal cocktail attire - think Spring/Summer vibes even though it’s April! We're loving pinks, oranges, light blues and greens. Suits are perfect and ties are optional.
What shoes should I wear?
We suggest avoiding thin-heeled shoes due to the mix of grass and gravel on the property. Bring a change of shoes if it'll help keep you on the dance floor!
What weather should I expect?
Early April is usually warm during the day and cooler in the evening, but you know how unpredictable Auckland can be! Lows can be 14-16ºC and highs 19-22ºC.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If the weather is on our side, we’ll be outside for the ceremony and cocktail hour and inside for the reception. If it’s wet, everything will be moved indoors.
Is the ceremony and reception in the same venue?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the stunning Markovina Vineyard Estate in Kūmeu. The address is 82 Old Railway Road, Kumeū, Auckland 0892
Is there a schedule of events?
Absolutely! Arrive between 3pm-3:30pm for a welcome drink with Matt. The ceremony kicks off at 3:30pm sharp, so make sure you're seated by then.
Can I take photos during the wedding?
Please hold off on photos during the ceremony. We have fantastic photographers capturing everything, and we're excited to share those moments with you afterward. Feel free to snap away at other times!
Can I request a song for the playlist?

Is there a registry or preferred gift?

Can I bring a plus one?
Unless otherwise stated on your invitation, we've planned for an intimate celebration and won't be able to accommodate plus ones. We hope you understand.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your kids, we've decided to keep the reception adults-only. We hope this gives you enough time to arrange for a night off and join us in celebrating!
Is there transportation provided?
There's plenty of on-site parking, but we recommend booking an Uber or taxi. We'll be serving free drinks all night, so planning ahead is a good idea.
Will there be plenty of parking?
Absolutely! There's ample free private parking on-site, but if you're planning to indulge in the free drinks, consider booking a ride in advance. Cars can be left overnight and picked up by 10am the next day.
